Mark Wabol – Martinis & Matisse 2016 Featured Artist

Mesparksphoto2Mark Wabol of Indian Rocks Beach has been chosen as the Featured Artist for Martinis & Matisse 2016. The son of a machinist, Mark’s love of metal work began as a fascination with cars and how they are made, developed as a welding student at Pinellas Technical Education Center, and became a career in art as he combined his love of the ocean with his fine technical skill.
Mark works in his Hot Metal Designs garage workshop and produces stunning, shimmering pieces for both public display and private appreciation. He especially enjoys collaborating with prospective purchasers on the design of custom pieces for homes or businesses. Local collectors commission his work, and his booths actually sell out at selected art shows. From the impressive Indian Rocks Beach Fire Department sculpture commemorating September 11th to his whimsical fish shaped hitch cover, Mark is a master at his unique forms of metal work. The Clinic is proud to have Mark Wabol as the Featured Artist for Martinis & Matisse 2016.
