The Clearwater Free Clinic is pleased to announce that Ruth Stone will serve as Honorary Chair of Martinis & Matisse 2016. Mrs. Stone has been a generous benefactor to many local charities and has been a sponsor of CFC’s Martinis & Matisse for several years.
Ruth and her late husband, J.O. “Jake” Stone, were married over 40 years and were firmly rooted in the Clearwater area. They enjoyed financial success with their automobile dealerships and commercial real estate holdings. Ruth continues their legacy of giving back to the community and is honored to support the Clinic as Honorary Chair. “I love attending Martinis and Matisse; it’s such an elegant event. We should all be very grateful to this organization and support the efforts of our local doctors, nurses and volunteers who come to the aid of our neighbors in their time of need.”
There are so many worthy causes, and the Clinic’s staff and volunteers appreciate Ruth’s selection of the Clinic as one of her chosen charities and thank her for serving as this year’s Honorary Chair.
