The Clearwater Free Clinic proudly celebrated Volunteer Week 2026 by honoring our dedicated volunteers April 20-24th. Morning shift volunteers enjoyed donuts and fresh fruit skewers, while the afternoon shift cooled down with an assortment of ice cream treats. The week provided a meaningful opportunity to pause, connect, and recognize the incredible people who donate their time, energy, and expertise to our mission. We concluded the celebration with a special luncheon at Bon Appetit in Dunedin, enjoying excellent food, beautiful views, and even better company.
Volunteer Week highlights the profound impact behind every friendly face at the clinic. In the past year alone, volunteer services at CFC were valued at $1,508,633. Additionally, the clinic received $3,755,424 in donated clinical services, including radiology, labs, specialized procedures, and diagnostic care. These contributions remove critical healthcare barriers and directly transform the lives of those who need it most.
We also extend our deepest gratitude to the volunteers who drive our fundraising efforts and special events. Whether securing sponsorships, managing logistics, or working behind the scenes, your efforts power our mission. This creativity and dedication helped CFC achieve record-breaking years for both Martinis & Matisse and our annual Golf Tournament.
Every single task—from answering phones and assisting with patient care to providing specialized medical services and supporting fundraisers—builds something powerful. Volunteers are essential to making CFC's mission possible, and your generosity cannot be overstated. While Volunteer Week has concluded, our appreciation continues every day. Thank you for standing with us, showing up, and proving that compassion in action changes lives.
