Getting to Know Our M+M Committee: Meet Dotti Fischer

At the heart of Martinis and Matisse are the dedicated volunteers who bring this signature Clearwater Free Clinic fundraiser to life. This week, we’re spotlighting Dotti Fischer, who helps ensure guests receive a warm welcome through her work with Invitations and Registration.

A Longtime Supporter

Dotti has been part of the Martinis + Matisse committee since its inception. Drawn to the event’s fun and unique format, she was inspired to get involved because it benefits a much-needed service in the community—the Clearwater Free Clinic.

Behind the Scenes

When asked about a favorite memory, Dotti shared a special moment: Sophie Matisse, the great-granddaughter of renowned artist Henri Matisse, once attended the event and even donated a piece of art!

Personal Touch

For Dotti, volunteering with the Clinic is about more than planning a great event. “Working on Martinis and Matisse enables members of the community to learn more about the Clinic’s mission and then become more involved.” Her commitment runs deep—she is also a longtime volunteer and Board Member of the Clearwater Free Clinic.

And if she had to describe the event in just three words? “Fun, Fun, Fun!”

Why Attend?

As the Clinic’s major fundraiser, Martinis and Matisse raises the essential funds that keep the Clinic’s doors open for those in need. Supporting this event means supporting healthcare access for uninsured families in our community.
